what a gorgeous day! well, i should say gorgeous week! For being March and living in wisconsin, we are not used to such lovely weather. Its been in the high 70's low 80's all week. What a perfect way to start out spring! The trees have started to bud and bloom...all in a matter of a week. I think this is the fastest ive seen phenological events take place. Trees are green, birds and singing, and the sun is shining! Today Bharath and I went downtown for a walk along the lake. It was beautiful. I took pictures while he walked Brooklyn. It was very relaxing and much needed. Its been a while since we've gone on a walk together. I had the day off today. I spent most if it online looking for birthday ideas for Bharaths 30th GOLDEN birthday! I want to do something special for him and get out of town for the weekend just me and him. but i just don't know what to do. I feel like all the things I look at are more geared towards me than him...and thats not fair! we are so different in our hobbies and our likings. its kinda funny. But i will figure something out. :D Also today i worked in my little mini books and played around in my smash book...i wrote a lot in my journal as well. I feel so much better when I write whats on my mind...I want to make a daily habit of it...weather its on here or in a journal, as long as some way some how im documenting my life and recording my feelings.
Alright, off to read my book - Life by Louise Hay...totally recommend it. It makes me feel happy to be a human being and to know that im capable of anything

February in photos
Hello!
Its been a very productive and awesome day. Ive been working on my to-do list like a mad woman, checking things off like crazy. What a good feeling it is! One of the things on my do to list was to make a photo collage of pictures ive taken in February. Ive never done it before and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out! I cant wait to do one for march.

Another thing I worked on today was writing my list of goals for March... they are pretty basic and for the most part, attainable. But they mean something to me and I want to be able to accomplish them.
Im the kind of person to set goals but never actually take the time to accomplish them, or just forget about them in general. So Ive created this cute simple list and printed out four copies to put in places so that I see this everyday...no matter what. I will be back with an update to see how it goes!
hope all is well

Getting Things Started
So last night Bharath and I were sitting on the couch watching United States of Tara when all of a sudden a huge rush of inspiration for my blog came to me. I grabbed a piece of paper and started scribbling away my goals for my blog and what i need to do to achieve them. I have great dreams for this blog becoming successful and having many people flock to my page. Just thinking about it makes me happy, and this is only the beginning. I have a little work to do, and eventually things will just all fall together and my blog will be my own little space on the net.
Today I sat down and made a blog schedual. I made a calendar of february and mapped out when I wanted to post what. I hope this helps me in posting on a somewhat every day basis. This week one of my goals for the blog is to create the about me page. Once I start posting on a more regular basis and actually have folowers, I will add some more content to the blog. But for now, it is as it is.
And life is grand.
